  • Provide statistical consulting to faculty, staff, and students across Yale through the University Library's StatLab, guiding the full research workflow, which spans data management, study design, methodology selection, analysis, and the interpretation and visualization of results.
  • Specialize in supporting clinical and biomedical researchers across Yale's medical schools alongside the broader research community, delivering 50+ one-on-one consultations to date.
  • Authored statistical-analysis research guides and developed instructional materials that advance data and methodological literacy.
Research Assistant — Tobacco Policy Microsimulation

  • Co-developed and calibrated the Smoking, E-cigarette & Pregnancy (SEP) microsimulation in R, an individual-based model that jointly simulates smoking, e-cigarette use, and pregnancy across U.S. birth cohorts through 2100, to project the long-term maternal and infant health and economic impact of a proposed federal nicotine product standard.
  • Calibrated the model to U.S. national survey data, including NHIS and BRFSS, using L-BFGS-B numerical optimization.
  • Parameterized the model's maternal-morbidity and infant-mortality probabilities by analyzing the National Survey of Family Growth, linked birth–infant death files, and National Vital Statistics natality data, extracting prevalences and computing event probabilities from these sources.
  • First-authored an abstract accepted to the Society for Medical Decision Making (SMDM) 2026 Annual Meeting.
